FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW MUCH DO THE MIDNIGHT BAND COST TO HIRE?

Please contact us for a detailed quotation.  There are lots of factors to consider when providing a quotation, such as travel time, arrival time and finish time.  We do price ourselves very competitively and will ensure to give you the best possible value for money.

CAN WE COME TO ONE OF YOUR PERFORMANCES?

This may be possible if we are playing at a public event.  As the vast majority of our work is Private Functions and Weddings, we will do everything possible to accommodate clients.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

To secure a booking date, a non-refundable deposit must be paid within 7 days of agreeing a booking.

WHAT SONGS WILL YOU PLAY?

We have a vast repertoire and will work with all clients to ensure that you get the right mix of songs to keep everybody on the dance floor.  Rest assured that people of all ages will be catered for.  If you have particular songs or genres in mind, then please get in touch with us and let us know.

HOW LONG DO YOU PLAY FOR?

We play for 2 hours 15 minutes split, 1 x 60 and 1 x 75 minute set, or 3 x 45 minute sets.

WHAT IS THE BAND LINE UP?

We are a 6-piece band.  The line-up consists of 2 lead female vocalists, keyboards/vocals, bass/vocals, guitar/vocals and drums.

DO YOU ACTUALLY PLAY LIVE OR USE BACKING TRACKS?

Yes, we do play live and we use click tracks.  The band uses in-ear monitoring and we have a click track to keep everything in time.

HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?

The band travel all across the U.K.

HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU NEED?

Ideally, we need a space of 5m wide x 4m deep to accommodate the band, lighting and PA.

DO I NEED TO PROVIDE THE BAND WITH ANY EQUIPMENT?

The band is fully self-contained with PA and lighting up to 200 guests.  If you have more than 200 guests, we will work with you to ensure we provide suitable PA, Lighting and Staging.  We do require the venue to have at least 2 x 13-amp sockets situated near the performance area.

DOES THE BAND PLAY OUTSIDE?

Yes, we do.  We are happy to play outside so long as there is a covered stage or marquee/gazebo.  We will require access to at least 2 x 13-amp sockets situated near the performance area.

WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE OF THE BAND MEMBERS CANNOT PLAY DUE TO ILLNESS?

The band will ensure that a suitable, well-rehearsed musician is ready to take their place.

CAN YOU ARRIVE IN THE MORNING TO SETUP FOR AN EVENING EVENT?

Yes, we can.  Our stand availability is from 6pm until midnight.  We do provide extended hours for early setup/start and late finishes until 1am (this will be factored into the final quotation).

HOW LONG DO YOU TAKE TO SETUP?

We allow 1 hour to get into a venue, setup and sound check.  We like to run through a couple of songs to ensure we get the right room balance, prior to performance.  It is important that you factor this into your schedule.

DO YOU PLAY RECORDED/BACKGROUND MUSIC BETWEEN YOUR SETS?

Yes, we cover the whole evening’s entertainment for you.  Included in all of our quotations is our recorded ‘DJ’ playlist.  This is music played through a laptop/iPad through our PA system.  We can play music, before we play, during the interval and up until midnight.  We have full access to Apple Music so you can send us your own customised playlists.

DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE AND IS ALL OF YOUR EQUIPMENT PAT TESTED?

Yes, the band have Public Liability Insurance and all, of our equipment is PAT tested.  Documentation is available on request.
